<p>My D, a junior is interested in pursuing biology/genetics research in college. Any ideas about schools that have good programs. She is looking for a small to medium school.</p>
<p>Sciences majors tell me that getting a worthwhile research experience as an undergraduate can be largely a matter of a student’s personal initiative. That being said, these relatively small colleges are known for their laboratory facilities and resources and research opportunities for underclassmen.</p>
