I’m a junior considering Johns Hopkins. I’d really like to double major in biology and Near Eastern Studies. Does anyone have any information about the quality of these departments? Also, how hard would it be to double major in these areas?

Well I cant say I know how easy or hard it would be for you, other than as an admitted student ED i plan on doubling in a hard science and a social science as well. Biology is clearly going to be very strong at Hopkins and while I dont know exactly about NES, I’d imagine because of the strength of the international programs at JHU, that its probably pretty good. As with all the Hopkins departments, I would assume they would offer their students a lot of unique opportunities to study first hand.
