Biology: UCLA or USC Spring?

Hi guys,
I have the option of choosing between UCLA and USC Spring admission. At UCLA I have been admitted for Microbiology, Immunology, and Molecular Genetics. This is a very alluring option as I love research and supposedly the major is very research-based. At USC, I have been admitted to the spring for Biology, which seems admittedly more mundane. Attending in the spring seems like it would be unfortunate as I would miss making friendships in the fall, however I believe I could love spending the fall semester abroad. At USC I was also named a Presidential Scholar and while financials are not important, I am curious of the significance of the “personalized academic and scholarship advising by USC Academic Honors and Fellowships” and admission to the Trojan Scholar Society that “programs academic, social, and cultural events for your personal and professional development.” Are those real benefits or just words on a screen? I am leaning toward UCLA but felt very comfortable when I was visiting USC and want to know what are some of the pros/cons of either that I’ve looked over.
Thanks for any insight!

Edit: I also keep telling myself that 50% of college undergrads switch majors, so I shouldn’t choose between the two based on their rankings for biology.
