BioMed in Wisconsin

I am from Ohio and I am planning to do Biomedical Engineering. I am looking at Case and Wisconsin. Case is awesome in Undergrad. Biomed, and its dept. been around for a long time. It also ranks 4th in the nation for biomed.
I am also looking at Wisconsin-Madison. It also offers Undergrad. Biomed, but its reputation is more obscure or at least that what I think. But I Wisconsin seems more attractive, nice campus and better social scene than case.

How do these two compare in Biomed?

Thanks

yikes!!! sorry something messed up, this is posted up twice! sorry again

UW just established a separate biomed dept. Before it was housed within another dept. Overall for bio resources UW is among the top 5 in the US. It ia also WAY more fun than Case

YEAHH! That sounds pretty uplifting. I’ve been very interested in Wisconsin, but kinda uneasy bout their biomed program, but u’ve cleared it up. Just curious, in the US News College ranking, Wisconsin doesn’t rank in the top 5 for biomed.

I was talking about all life sciences areas combined–biochem, genetics, zoology, etc.

I see, is that graduate level? I still think it seems a better choice than Case overall.

They only rate graduate programs by dept. It’s the same faculty though and many upper level classes can have some undergrads and grads in the same class.
