<p>The ivies are good for everything (consider Cornell)

No one would hate you for going to UVA or UNC<br>
Georgia tech, a bit farther south. Purdue and UIUC a little farther west.</p>
<p>And I’m partial to Syracuse and Drexel as my dark-horse picks.</p>
<p>Stony Brook and Massachusetts Amherst have good reputations for CS and relatively low out of state list prices, despite not so great overall reputations.</p>
<p>Virginia Tech also has a relatively low out of state list price.</p>
