Biomedical Engineer: what programs/software will I have to download?

Are they all Mac compatible?

you might need matlab, i’m not sure…but most engineers i know have it.

If you need Windows software on your Mac, you can always try something such as VirtualBox ([VirtualBox - VirtualBox](VirtualBox – Oracle VM VirtualBox)) instead of dual booting outright.

Just Matlab.

I was a chemE and we used a chemical processes/process flow simulation program in the chemE computer lab. We also used some kind of “Solver”. Those programs were licensed software in school’s machines. If BME has similar kind of programs, they would be used only in the BME computer lab. Nobody would expect you to buy the expensive software.
