Biomedical Engineering

I’ve heard a couple of things about biomedical engineering. On the one hand I’ve heard that coming out with a bachelors degree is not enough for a job (from this board) and i’ve also heard that it is one of the hottest growing fields? So my question is -howmarketable is an undergraduate degree in this field?

[Biomedical Engineers : Occupational Outlook Handbook : U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics](http://www.bls.gov/ooh/architecture-and-engineering/biomedical-engineers.htm)

I think Bachelor will be fine. “Employment of biomedical engineers is expected to grow by 62 percent from 2010 to 2020.” It’s one of top 10 or 15 in employment increase.
