biomolecular vs biomaterials

Can anyone input his/her own opinion on the 2 majors above. I’m currently deciding which to major in… I’m considering how hard, fun, and enjoyable the classese are. Please advice.

How fun and enjoyable the classes are really depend on what you find fun and enjoyable. The two majors are quite different so you should be able to figure out which one you find to me more fun.

Biomolecular is generally considered to be one of the harder engineering while materials science/biomaterials is generally considerd to be an easier major, nonetheless, both are still quite difficult.

I agree with spe07 - biomolecular and biomaterials are two different majors. My suggestion is that you review the resources on both department’s websites and contact advisors/faculty in both departments. I am not sure it is wise to choose your major based on which is fun and enjoyable - you should base that decision more on which major provides you the courses and direction you want to take in your studies. As well, remember that engineers have until the end of the first year to officially select their major, so use your first two semesters to explore the majors.
