<p>I am currently number 7 on a waitlist for BIS 2A. Do I have any shot of making of it into the class? Normally I would assume not, but there is no lab for BIS 2A. It’s just a discussion section. So I am hoping that, because there are no labs to conduct, I will have a better chance of getting a PTA code. Also with it being the first class in the series, there will be more drops. Anyone who has experienced the waitlist process please offer some insight.</p>

<p>you’ll probably be fine. that’s a huge lecture class, right? i would hardly consider #7 far down the waitlist unless the class is very small. don’t sweat it too much. you’ll likely get in.</p>
<p>Yeah. It is a huge lecture in sci lec hall 123. I think it holds over 500 people. But each discussion section has an enrollment cap of 24. I’m not thinking they will go more than 5 students or so over that. Hopefully during schedule adjustment some people will drop and I’ll move up a few spots. Anyone else have any experience being deep on a waiting list?</p>
