has anyone else’s email for portal login gotten weirdly switched around, either when they first applied or inexplicably months later? for some reason half of my applied-in-jan colleges used my normal/deadname email for the portal and half used my college application-specific email. i’ve now discovered northeastern switched from the application email to my normal email, and rochester somehow got ahold of my school email and switched from my application to that? i’m now having to go through each of my portals and making sure the email address is correct. it’s a little bit terrifying, knowing i may accidentally miss an email or fail to show demonstrated interest due to this weirdness. has this been happening to anyone else?
I’m guessing you used it somewhere - and the system grasped it.
They didn’t just find your home one (Rochester) on their own, etc.
It’s why it’s important - before you apply - to have a college only email to be used - as early as when you ask for initial info.
Hopefully you can get it all fixed.
But check all your email addresses.
