<p>I was invited to apply for the BAA Scholarship (and did). </p>
<p>Is this invitation sent out to all black applicants or is it some sort of a good sign, admissions-wise?</p>
<p>Also, it said that if I am selected from the pool, I would have to go to LA for a mandatory interview in March or April. This is sort of an issue because I live in New York. Would I be able to select a day that works for me (during my spring break) or do I just have to get on a plane whenever they tell me to?</p>
