Safe travels, @jym626!
Is it worth 20 bucks to send back a heavy item? Mad at Amazon right now. Almost worth it.
So thankful. I have been very good this weekend. I did a little shopping online on Thanksgiving but haven’t pulled out my credit card all weekend. Not even today despite being bombarded with all those emails.
JC Penney was having a big sale on their suit jacket and pants. Online you saved even more.
I got S a size 34 suit jacket (smallest size) and pants for $70 ($280 original price)!
thanks, @BunsenBurner. Ordered 6 bottles for DH’s business associates. Shopping for them is done!
Ever since someone posted that bread recipe, the one that you make in a dutch oven, which we currently don’t own, I’ve wanted one.
Not sure what one looks for in a dutch oven but I bought this one today for $30:

gouf78, Call Amazon and tell them you are unhappy. Bet you they wave the return fee.
@gouf78 What is the item? $20 is a lot to waste. I agree. Call Amazon.
To all the experienced CC shoppers, will there will any more great sales (in general) that now that Black Friday and Cyber Monday is behind us? I did most of my shopping over the weekend and yesterday. I noticed in past years that prices go back up after the Thanksgiving weekend.
My son sprang a “would like to have” item late last night, luckily I got it before midnight with good % off and free shipping. Well, I would still have bought it later if it is something he likes and can use.
@Hopeful820 We finished our Xmas cards on Shutterfly and placed a Harry and David order to a hard to buy for family member and it was a blue moon because DH bought DS3 expensive soccer cleats and had him properly fit. I think I may be just about done. A great weekend of savings especially yesterday.
Get a gift card @Hopeful820 LOTS of items will be available, and discounted in January.
It’s a grill. Nope on the refund difference from Amazon. I talked to five people (mostly overseas). The original order I thought was Amazon was actually Amazon LLC (a third party). The new lower price was Amazon. I think they might have done it if not for that. Not sure. Only way they would do it was for me to return grill and order it again. Should’ve ordered it from Wal-Mart.
@gouf78 Did you try asking for a US representative from Amazon? I have had better luck with them… the overseas rep have limited authority.
^yes
@Hopeful820 I’ve seen many CyberMonday sales extended into today and this week. Last year, there were many online platforms doing promotions in the weeks ahead of Christmas. Not sure what kind of item you are talking about but I wouldn’t give up hope yet of getting a discount.
This is a really good deal on great products if you are looking to get a nice, generous gift of consumables. I know I’d be pleased to receive it. On sale today only and free shipping, too.

Wow! That looks lovely.
I got excited when I saw an ad for a whiskey advent calendar. It turns out the company has many different liquor advent calendars and had one for absinthe. I was thinking about splurging and getting one for a friend (it is about $150) when I went through the process, found out they are in the UK, and saw that shipping was another $90! No fair even advertising that stuff here…
I saw a beers advent calendar at Costco! Some fun German beers in that collection. I think it was fifty bucks… Now I am kicking myself that I have not bought it for Mr. Maybe I can sneak into Costco tomorrow, but I hate driving our new tin can, and Mr. is out of town with both keys to the truck!!
I got one of those for H a couple of years ago but he was underwhelmed. It is all German beer and they have limits on the number of ingredients that beer is allowed to have. H is into sours and all sorts of arcane stuff so he doesn’t drink much from Germany. If you H loves lager, make the trip!
Thanks @greenwitch! Lager seems to be his thing. Those German genes…
