Uh oh-- its 12:07 here…

Saks $100 off of $400 of “contemporary” stuff which was valid until 11:59 pm is gone as well! I’m in PST. Not that I was going to buy anything for $400…

Actually went to Freeport yesterday, I’m not sure how that happened but S needed stuff. Pouring rain and fear of crowds I guess kept the crowds away. There were ‘people’ but it wasn’t insane.

Mexicali Blues had a 25% off sale off everything, so got lots of sustainable hippie-type stuff, I bagged a beautiful alpaca sweater at 75% off.

S got some dress shirts, slacks, etc. at LL Bean, and I got to see him looking spiffy! Bean has a $10 gift card for any purchase $25 or more – I spent a lot more, but it was a pleasure!

That bag was hideous but I was relieved that it was a bag with a dog on it and not a bag for carrying a dog in! In our tourist town the latest thing seems to be dog strollers. People pushing their dogs around in strollers as if they were children. Ridiculous.
I was appalled at the number of people shopping with dogs at Nordstrom yesterday, including one woman trying on things while her large dog blocked an entire aisle.
What if you were allergic?

^^^ You could scare that big dog off with that hideous purse, perhaps…

Anudduh, I love the way you put ‘people’ in quotes. That’s the way I feel about other humans on Black Friday too!

Gwen, I tend to ‘overuse’ quotes, I’m not sure why! :)

I guess I meant ‘people’ as in ‘the stores weren’t empty by any means’, but it wasn’t chock-a-block ‘people’ either.

Geez, jym, next time give a warning!!!

:: wipes off keyboard and screen ::

Toooooo funny!!!

PackMom, that may just be the perfect gift for my IMPOSSIBLE to please DH. What is the product name? Brand? Thanks!

DD really wanted me to get this masterpiece as a gag gift for her dad. Over my dead body!

I got one of those turntable things for my husband at Bed Bath and Beyond and was able to use the 20% off coupon.

Psycho Bunny stuff (check out the shirts!) is very in.

Translation: If your H works like a madman and gets all those vinyls converted to CD or mp3 in under 90 days, you can return the $90 gizmo and buy about 12 of those monster bags of peanut M&Ms :D

And sorry for the monitor shower owlice. Not sure how to give a joke warning without ruining the joke…

BTW, the turntable thing cost $10 more (plus s&h) at thinkgeek than costco. HM is it at BB&B?

I bought it on Sunday for 89.99 and with the 20% coupon , came to about about 74.00 at BBandB.

If I saw my husband wearing these, I would know he was an imposter.
