(Black) Greek Life

Hi. I've applied to six colleges: Michigan State University, Western Michigan University, Oglethorpe Univeristy, University of Tampa, Southern Methodist University and University of Illinois. I wanted to know if someone could give me any information on how active/lively these schools' greek systems are, particularly how active their black greek system is. Thank you.

You likely have certain frats or sororities in mind. The main ones (Kappas, Ques, Alphas, AKA, Deltas) probably exist on all the large campuses. Some others may or may not have chapters. These may be officially recoginzed by the college and some may have a presence but not officially registered. My alma mater had "city" chapters where members drew from several nearby colleges.

You can try the college websites that list clubs and organizations. The homepages of the different frats/sororities contain lots of info too. It wouldn't surpise me if current lists of college chapters are there as well.
