Blinn TEAM vs. CAP

I was recently accepted into both Blinn TEAM and UT’s CAP program, kind of a bummer, I know. But I have reached a problem that I can not figure out on my own, and I really need some advice/help/knowledge or anything else really. I am a high school senior right now and once I graduate I will have 18 hours of college credit because of dual credit. In college I would like to major in business which could mean being in either McCombs or Mays school of business. In UT’s CAP I must complete 30 hours at a UT system school and I would ONLY get automatic admission into UT school of liberal arts, not specifically into business, and from what I have read you basically need a 4.0 to get into McCombs which would be very difficult; also my 18 hours will basically do me no good going this route. My other option is to go Blinn TEAM, this pathway my 18 hours does count and it will be much easier to get into Mays school of business in about one years time. My problem comes is that taking the risk of the CAP program worth getting into McCombs, or is the more secure route of going to Blinn and getting into Mays a better option?
PS. I would like to know if any of you have been through either of these situations and how they turned out for you. And if y’all have an opinion on which business school is better and why I would love to hear.
Thank you for your time

Also if there are any other routes I could take let me know!

How sure are you about business? Could you be an econ major? McCombs is tough to transfer into.

Do you need those hours? Like to save a little $?

I am pretty sure about business, but honestly I’m not sure what the major differences are between Econ and business haha. And I talked to A&M today and they said I would need about a 3.7 to get into Mays (which is more obtainable).
And no I don’t need those 18 hours, I will already have them because my school has dual credit where I get college and high school credit for the class!
