Blowoff Classes

I’m planning my Spring 2011 schedule right now and am trying to fill up my elective space. My major is a BA in Chemistry with a premed focus and I have a ridiculous workload as is. I was wondering if there are some nice blowoff electives I could take. I’ve heard there are a couple classes where you don’t have to go to a single lecture or take a single test and just get an automatic 4.0 (e.g. Interior Design 140). Does anyone know some other, nice, easy electives/Integrative Studies classes I can take to bolster the GPA?

Thanks, and Go Green.

P.S. Don’t give me the “SKOOL IS 4 LEARNINGLOL” crap. I don’t care. If I am required to take an elective I will take the most effortless, asinine one I can and love it.

A word of advice from a student who just applied to professional school (vet med):
You need to take a heavy course load each semester and do well (>3.5) to be a competitive applicant. Don’t take something you’re not interested in. What if you are asked in an interview-“Why did you take interior design 140?” “Oh, because I thought my classes were hard enough so I just decided to take this class to pad my gpa.” Not good.
Take classes you are interested in. These are the classes that you will do the best in!

Here’s a weird thought: why don’t you take something interesting to you?

A blow-off class for me would be a class like the 400-level AL class I’m taking. I’m guessing someone who isn’t interested in museums wouldn’t find it so blow-off-y.

An elective is supposed to be a class where you can explore a new subject. Why don’t you do that?

ps is right. Admins see right through that crap.

wine tasting through hospitality business, lol (if you are 21+). Otherwise, I’ve heard a class like packaging 101 or sailing in the great lakes 101 is crazy easy.

You win the pertinent response award. Thanks a ton.
