The bio doesn’t say if there is a wife and/or children…</p>

<p>This is something that is always difficuilt to read.</p>

<p>This hits very close to home for me because Beaufort was my last duty residence, and my fathers name name was almost in the obituaries (I believe in '98) for a similar incident, when is throttle jammed on full after running out of gas, fortunately he punched out and suffered minor injuries.</p>

<p>Please pray for all those affected by this incident.</p>

<p>A tragic loss for our country. </p>

<p>PS - One thing I learned from reading the bio’s of the current Blue Angels pilots surprised me - none are graduates of the Naval Academy.</p>

In the 60 year history of the Blue Angels, only 26 of the pilots have been USNA graduates.</p>

<p>However, the flight surgeon is a USNA grad.</p>

<p>Well, at least he died doing what he loved and at the top of his game. How many of us will be able to say that?</p>
