Blue Devil Days?

Are class visits available during Blue Devil Days?

I believe they are. If not, just approach anyone (maybe a current freshman would be the most appropriate) and ask him/her to bring you to one of his/her classes. Which kind of classes are you looking into?

yea just ask a freshman to bring u into a class…since most intro classes are fairly large classes profs won’t care (or won’t notice) a hs student so its alrite to go

if u’re looking to go to a higher level class probably best to ask the prof b4 class starts…but i’m sure most profs won’t mind at all unless there’s a test that day…in which case u wouldn’t want to go anyways haha

Checking out a class is a great idea. My S attends now and went to BBD last year and visiting a class and speaking with a professor was a real plus. Duke has some really great profs and this was a real factor in him selecting Duke.

I think I’d like to sit in on a mechanical eng or materials sci class. Any recommendations? I was wondering if we could because it’s not in the schedule… But the schedule is pretty flexible right?

The BME and ME departments offer an intro biomaterials class that many freshmen and sophomore take. It’s BME 83 or ME 83, at least one is offered every semester but idk if they meet on the day of BDD.
