<p>I recently got a letter from Columbia in the mail telling me that I would be very competitive if I applied, and they wanted to send me “some Blue Notes.” Can anyone tell me if this is generic, or if it actually means something? In other words do they send this to most high school students? I am a sophomore in high school, 4.0 GPA, 27 ACT, 183 PSAT (My writing scores brought me way down-I am taking a language usage and grammar course next year to help with this.)</p>
<p>It’s pretty generic, they send those out to a lot of kids.</p>
