<p>How is the Biomedical Engineering program Rice offers, rigorous, is there a social life or is it just studying, how are the proffesors, is it extremely difficult to get good grades,very competitive, in other words what is the good and the bad?</p>
<p>Its an engineering field… here are characteristics</p>

<li>Lots of work</li>
<li>Limited flexibility in coursework</li>
<li>Reasonably competitive</li>
<li>It is said that BioE’s have more free time than say chemE’s… but thats very subjective</li>
</ol>
<p>A fact is that a decent number of BioE’s graduate with honors. A lot more than chemE that had like 3 people get honors.</p>
