<p>Hi,</p>
<p>I am an incoming 10th grader and I want to apply for 11th grade. </p>
<p>Grades: 4.0 (maximum I could get for my freshman year was a 4.2)</p>
<p>Extracurrics/Volunteer: Cello (assistant principal, was principal for 2 years in middle school), school orchestra, community orchestra, chamber group, won 4th place in 2 competitions. Science Olympiad, I won State in my 2 respective events a few months ago, now holding a leadership position. FBLA. Robotics. Math Club. My state’s scholarship federation. I belong to an organization that helps underpriviledged kids receive a better education. Speech and Debate.</p>
<p>Sports: none. I swim, run, and play volleyball for fun though.</p>
<p>Other: taking UCLA’s Nanoscience Lab and UChicago’s Undergradate Courses for the summer</p>
<p>the first choice school for me is andover (b/c of its science and music programs)</p>
<p>i know there is a limited (25~) number of positions this year.</p>
