Hello! I’m an 8th grade student applying to various boarding schools for the 2022-2023 school year. I decided to get recommendations from my past-year teachers as they knew me not only as a student in class but rather comprehensively (i.e. one of my teachers supervised my service club). Some of my teachers changed in the middle of the semester, too, making it extremely difficult to get a recommendation from them.
Because of this, I have decided to apply to schools like Lawrenceville and Hotchkiss (the recommendations have been submitted).
However, as I began to finalize my application materials, I felt that my list of schools was extremely insufficient. Because it seems as if I “passed the deadline” for asking for recommendations, what are some schools that allow past teacher recommendations?
