Hey. Has anyone come across any schools that do not have separate buildings but all classrooms/halls/dorms are compressed into one, huge complex? i.e. Hogwarts, some british boarding schools

Lemme know, please!! You know, if I dont get in this year!

Generally speaking, Taft does, and you could possibly make the argument Hotchkiss does as well. Although I am not sure as to the whereabouts of there science classes, so possibly not.

Hotchkiss has a lot of stuff (classrooms, chapel, dining hall, administrative offices, etc.) in the Main Building, but there’s a separate Science Building, and all the dorms are separate buildings as well.

St. Mark’s mostly does. They have added new dorms that are not part of the main quad. Their freshman dorms are quite a hike from their main building.

Annie Wright School. Kind of looks like Hogwarts in a lot of ways too. Pretty much everything in one building…or at least connected by covered walkways (the gym).

I would find having most classes in one building a turn-off. Wide, open campuses with multiple buildings seem so much more attractive. Yes, much less convenient in the winter but beautiful to get outside and walk across the gorgeous campus during fall and spring!

Convenient, yes - - especially in winter and especially for coming down to b’fast in your pjs. But since most one-bldg schs have low enrollment, it can feel insular (or that’s how it felt when D and I visited some of the smaller schools).
