Boarding schools with Full FA/Scholarships

Hello. I am looking for boarding schools in the US and apply if any offers full FA or scholarships. Kindly please help me.

I am aware of an exceptionally talented Vietnamese student at Choate, and an African war orphan/award-winning filmmaker at Deerfield, and the exiled last king of Tibet at St. Andrews-- all of whom received full scholarships.

Andover is need blind and meets full need, ever for int’ls. But unless you are a seriously exceptional int’l candidate, don’t hold your breath waiting for significant FA. You’re not going to get money just for being earnest. Keep in mind that these are American schools, not international schools-- for the more part, int’l students are expected to be fullpay to subsidize the cost of domestic students. The elite boarding schools I mentioned above with the fat endowments, that are most able to give generous scholarships, are the ones with the fewest int’l students and are the hardest ones to get into.

The dilemma for schools giving substantial aid to int’l students is that unless you are an orphan (or exiled king) it is difficult for the schools to verify your family’s financial situation. I have interviewed students overseas who were asking for FA, and I could tell from these families’ posh addresses that they were not hurting for money.
