<p>A great place to ask those types of questions is on West-Point.org’s “Prospective Net”. Any parent, interested student or cadet candidate (accepted, waiting, waiting list, etc.) can subscribe. The moderators for the forum are either WP parents or connected to the admissions process in their state.</p>

<p>After R day, all the parents on Prospective Net can be subscribed to Plebe Net, a very, very active parent email listserve, then at the end of Plebe Year, they become members of the large Parent Forum listserve.</p>
<p>For example this weekend, the listserves are active, following cadet travel issues as cadets return from the long pass weekend.</p>
<p>Prospective Net will become more and more active as we get closer to R Day.</p>
