<p>Hi! So I’m applying for the Boettcher Scholarship, which is an extremely selective merit award that provides pretty much a full-ride to any college in Colorado for in-state students. The question I have is with the part of the application that asks applicants to list the awards they received. I haven’t gotten any super prestigious awards, but they give you the option for smaller things too. On the application, you have to select one of the pre-written categories for each award. There is another section to explain awards related to a specific extracurricular, so it’s more just general things I think. The awards that I have received that it gives me the option for are:</p>
<p>Academic Achievement/Excellence Award- Kiwanis OWL Award
Academic Department Award- could combine the awards I received last year into one slot: AP Chemistry, Physics, and Spanish
Academic Letter
AP Scholar Award
CU Boulder Outstanding Junior Award
National Honor Society (is it an “award” if I’m just in it?)
National Merit Commended Scholar
Principal’s Honor Roll
Valedictorian Candidate
Varsity Letter</p>
<p>I only have four slots. Which ones should I pick that will stand out the most? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!</p>
