Boldt Tower - West Campus Housing?

What are people’s impressions with Boldt Tower? All I know is that it’s a West Campus building with 16 residents associated with Alice Cook House.

Is it a good place to live? Are the rooms decent? What about the community environment? Are there any lounges or laundry rooms nearby?

it’s where the Language House is, I know. I imagine that the open lottery rooms in it would not be formally associated with that part of it…but I have no clue really.

Boldt Tower is not part of the Language House, but is attached (from the outside) to Boldt Hall, which does host the Language House. A friend of mine will be living in the Tower section next year (in the room next to “the Tower Master”…when you go inside, you’ll know what I mean). From what I saw of the floor plan, the rooms are fairly spacious. I heard one complaint regarding deliveries to Cook in the early morning, which might wake you up if you live on the side of the building facing Cook.

oh right, of course! sorry about that misinformation…thanks for providing the real info!

Hey the above correction that it is not in fact the language house is correct. Boldt Tower is very good for those with preferences to a quiet dorm. I feel it has very little community but if u like quiet, it’ll be good for you.
