So I just took it, and I got like 4 out of 10 – I honestly have no clue how. Math isn’t a favorite subject of mine, but I’ve had As all through high school and my SAT math score was okay (670). I’m going to double major in English and psychology, so basically I’ll just be doing statistics for psych and that’s it. Will my dismal score be a problem? Also, Admissions doesn’t get to see it, right?

haha it doesn’t matter. it’s just a suggestion anyway.

Yeah, jarsilver is right. The purpose of the math placement is to see where you should begin in terms of math courses, if you plan to/need to take math classes.

After all, it’s a placement test, not an assessment.
