Bombing the SAT?

It seems like everyone on here has done pretty well on the new SAT. But has anyone actually bombed it?

I did (1850, 710 Math, 600 Verbal, 540 Writing [real confidence booster for AP English Language Exam]) :(

hey, I’m sorry that you didn’t do as well as you would have like on the SAT’s, but don’t let your writing score put you into a panic about the AP Language exam. They test completely different things. The mc on the writing test is all grammer and usage, the mc on the AP is on passages. The essays are very different as well. The writing exam gives you a very general statement and says go ahead and respond. The prompts are much more different on the Language exam and there’s a passage to refer to. The message: don’t lose heart!!

lol (not at u), i still can’t get used to the 2400 system. Still, that’s not a horrible score. Good math score, just bring up the other two.

BTW, can someone give me a definative answer as to why they ended score choice?

hey cheer up i get the same reading as you & got a 5 on our practice exam today (using the 2001 exam). even if you don’t too so hot on your essays you can get a 4…

trust me your sat scores are not bad my friend got a 1470…=o

Ouch… I’m assuming thats New SAT…

:</p>

Sry to your friend.

Ya he is a good student but just an awful test taker, i think he bought a kaplans prep book.I think he is basically gonna study over the summer, and take the sats again in oct. I’m wondering if i should tell him about this grammatix text book…since i’ve been hearing good things about it…?

I feel bad for my friend. He got a 1280.
