<p>Many of the books on writing admissions essays seem to be about writing an essay on any topic. I, however, have two specific topics I must write about for my admissions papers. Are there any books that could give me tips on writing about specific topics such as the ones below?</p>

<p>Essay 1: In an essay of 300 words or less, write about how your personal or academic interests relate to your intellectual or professional goals.</p>

<p>Essay 2: In an essay of 300 words or less, choose one extracurricular activity, work experience, or community service project from the list you provided on the application and explain why you initially chose it, why you continued with it, and how you benefited from it.</p>

<p>I have been looking into Harry Bauld’s On Writing the College Application Essay but I’m not sure if it would help at all for these topics.</p>

<p>Harry Bauld is the man! I actually purchased his book yesterday and I’ve found it quite helpful.</p>
