Book suggestions for writing admission essays

My junior year ended and this summer it is the time to think about planning it but I dont know how to start or how to write one.

Im planning to apply for UC universities, so i preferably want a book that explains writing essays for UC admissions otherwise tell me some good ones that got you accepted.

[Amazon.com: How to Write a Winning College Application Essay, Revised 3rd Edition: Michael James Mason: Books](http://www.amazon.com/Write-Winning-College-Application-Revised/dp/0761510168)

“On writing the college application essay” Harry Bauld

Great book, though honestly my best advice to you would be to think about what makes you unique, write about that, and then see if it fits one of the prompts. If not, try again until you find one that fits.

Anymore suggestions

Any book that contains college essays that other students have written usually works pretty well. Read a lot of essays- it at least helped a lot for me.
