Books on Learning Styles, How to Effectively Study

Although I earned a 4.0 this last semester, the courses I took were only to complete my Associate’s degree and were not transferable to the four-year school of my choice, Southern Methodist University.

My plan is to use my learning style to ‘absorb’ the course material in addition to my brain training to be successful. Why the brain training? Doing so will allow for a more conducive brain ‘environment’ where the material can be easily computed along with effectively using my learning style.
Does anyone here have any book/Internet recommendations on learning styles and how to effectively study and be successful in college?

How To Become a Straight-A Student and How to Win at College, both by Cal Newport, will do you a LOT of good. Those are the best, straight-to-the-point college books money can buy.

^Thanks for that, s33d.
