<p>Should I buy new books for my major courses and keep them after college for references? Currently, I’m buying used books for my general courses and planning on selling them off after I’m done.</p>
<p>My siblings kept all their major’s books. (they bought them used) </p>
<p>However, I think that doing this is silly because you can always check out such books at your University’s library.</p>
<p>I kept some books (and got stuck with a bunch that weren’t being bought back), and it hasn’t been that helpful. Usually you can look up the information somewhere else. I guess I should say this applies to undergrad only, as I’ve kept all my books in medical school and they’ve been valuable to have.</p>
