<p>so im bored, duh!! and in this boredom i have gone back to the UCSD points site and went through giving myself points because well [you know… i am bored. lol]</p>

<p>so i come across:

Special talents/ achievements/ awards
Noteworthy accomplishments in a public venue in visual and performing arts, communications, athletic endeavors, as well as demonstrated ** written or oral proficiency in a language other than the student’s native language. **

<p>now on my app i mentioned hte following:

Displaying proficiency in Spanish IV throughout the year<br>

Displaying proficiency in Spanish III throughout the year
[li]Self-Learn Sanskrit[/li]self-learn Sanskrit, practice pronunciation, and practice rhythm
[/ul]</p>

<p>so what do you think… do these count or not?</p>

<p>PS: Not that it really matters because UCSD decisions are com,coming out soon anyways [ my prediction = monday], but im really bored and yeah i have nothing better to do…
EDIT: take that back i do have something better to do, but c’mon help a fellow UCSD wannabe</p>

<p>I heard if you get rejected, they will tell you how many points you have and what is the cutoff point …</p>

<p>I find quite often that the amount of information about admissions that’s available to you is the exact same information that’s available to us. If those aren’t your native languages, it seems like they would count.</p>
