Boring

So I heard the town is really boring and not much to do? Anyone against that?

Compared to where?

I spent 6 years at FSU - 4 undergrad and 2 as a grad. I was not bored.

There’s a million things to do - as long as you get out and do them - on campus and off.

.like what?

For example…swimming in the sinks, going to the beach, getting cheese grits and fish and play pool at a very old fish house on the coast; swimming at the Reservation, going to the Malls, driving the back canopy roads, touring the ‘slave’ church downtown, touring the new Capitol, touring the old Capitol, going to the Florida State Museum, shopping the Farmer’s Market downtown, going to Jim and Milt’s for supper and breakfast, going to San Marcos de Apalachee, going to Mule Day, eating at Mom and Dad’s, bowling at Crenshaw Lanes on campus, going to a football game, going to a baseball game, softball game, soccer match, joining a fraternity/sorority, walking through the Music building, going to a free movie on campus, going to the FSU Computer Store, seeing a play, going to a concert, visiting the old city graveyard, going to the Old Spanish Mission archeological site…

How much do you need?

Here’s an old post:

Jacob - If you are a red-blooded male, there is no better place to be in this fine country than in Tallahassee, Florida.

Haha… being a sophomore here, I can tell you that Tallahassee definitely gets boring pretty quickly (then again, I’m from Miami). However, I barely have time to go out with classes and all, so I don’t know if I should be one to speak. lol

its awesome here, my friends and i have tons of fun.

True, Tampa Nole. There are one or two pretty girls* at Florida State.

*Yeah, like more than half the population of the entire school!

I was never bored. You’ve got to be joking.
