Hey all,

I’m potentially looking into moving to Boston in the next couple of years and was wondering what the college’s were like around the area and also what the City’s like itself. I have a friend who lives north of Fen way and he pretty much loves it, However I’d love to get a little inside perspective from local students about how life is there, the teaching methods etc. Any info would be a great help, feel free to drop me a message I usually catch them on the phone via email anyway.

Cheers

First, there are a LOT of colleges in Boston proper, never mind the colleges in the suburbs and in the area nearby. Secondly, there are a LOT of neighborhoods in the city. Each neighborhood is different, some of them very different either because of the groups that live there (for example, people in Southie compared to people you might meet in JP). So your question’s kinda vague.

And i’m a little biased, since Boston is really the only city I know, but i’ve heard it’s different than a lot of other cities. I can definitely tell you for sure that being in Boston feels like you’re a part of history, especially if you come out my way by Lexington/Concord.
