The Lenox is fine, though sometimes you’ll get a room that seems to be exploring mismatched patterns. The Midtown is a relic, pretty much the most desirable development site in the city, directly across from the Christian Science Center and where 2 new buildings, one 58 stories and the other 25, will be built. It’s old. It has parking. The Lenox has a better location, right next to the Boston Public Library and thus 1 block from Copley Square. Now if you’re visiting NEU, you can easily walk there from the Midtown and can still walk there from the Lenox if you like walking.
