Is admission easier for BC or NYU Business?
Is admission easier for BC or Boston University Business?

Level of difficulty:

NYU

BC

BU

Actually, the admission has become a LOT tougher to get into BC, particularly their Management school in the recent years. I would think NYU and BC as par, and BU easier.

bc has gotten very difficult to get into. nyu still has a better business school IMO but bc is very close.

No BC is not close. NYU is top 5 and pretty much the best for finance.

stern is much more prestigious, without a doubt

Maybe NY location itself gives NYU a better edge but Carroll has surely carried its name recognition during the recent years. I’d say if it comes between the two, go with campus feel and opt for one which you feel more comfortable at. They have very different student body.

I heard today that BU’s was ranked number 3 only after NYU’s Stern and Penn’s Wharton… I could be wrong but thats what I heard

Yeah, you probably would be wrong. MIT is clearly considered amongst the likes of Wharton and Stern. Not to mention schools like Michigan, UVA, UNC, USC, Babson, etc… BU has a good undergrad biz school but it is absolutely nowhere near #3. Repeat, nowhere close to near #3. Number 30 maybe on a good day?
