DD also has a finaid counselor assigned; we did not apply for aid. I’m not sure if it means anything (aka a tell) because I think I read on another thread they assign one to all applicants. But it’s not bad news so I’ll take it 
. I wish BC would update its X that it’s releasing ED tomorrow. I want to believe the link above re counselors receiving an email, but I want to verify from the horse’s mouth.

My son’s portal has had one all along. We did not apply for aid.
My son applied regular decision and has a financial aid counselor assigned. I do not think it is any indication, based on regular decision applicants’ decisions not coming out for an extended period of time.

Reading through the CC ED thread from last year (for Fall 2024): Boston College Early Decision for Fall 2024 Admission - #243 by hamm
it sounds like there was no X post or IG post - but that students got an email saying it would be on Tuesday Dec 5th evening. checking IG for BC Admissions, it seems they posted after they sent out the decisions so maybe we are all waiting for something that’s not going to come?
They warned last year on 12/1 via X.

2 years ago they posted on X the morning of 12/6 that decisions would be released that evening. Could be similar this year?

They sent an email to guidance counselors saying that it would be tomorrow evening, I read it myself.
College KickStart updated today (12/2) to show 12/3 being the ED1 decision release date: Boston College - College Kickstart
I’ve stalked the heck out of BC_Admissions on X. Sometimes they give advance notice, sometimes they only announce the morning of. There’s been no real pattern. They then post that the announcements are in portal somewhere between 6:00-7:30 pm eastern.

Yes! About 6-6:30 pm eastern tonight. I looked at what time BC_Admissions posted on X that decisions were available.
