@zs2019transfer Northeastern has rejected me twice if it makes you feel better lmao. They seem to be kind of hunting higher stats (GPA, SAT, etc) to raise their rank. plus they’re need aware which really hurts me.
I got accepted to BU as well and was pretty excited about it but they just haven’t given me enough aid to go
If Tufts is a deny (probably) then I’ll accept Brandeis. Not sure yet if I’ll take BC waitlist.
I’m outside so I haven’t opened my decision yet. Did everyone rejected or admitted get the same e-mail?
“Thank you for your patience while we reviewed your application for admission to Boston College. Attached please find your decision letter. Should you have any questions, please contact the Office of Undergraduate Admission at 617-552-3100.
Best Regards,
Boston College
Transfer Admission Office”
It looks like a rejection letter to me, but I haven’t opened it yet.
Got waitlisted. Will be declining my spot because I will be committing to Brown, hope someone else gets in! Good luck.
@Vexaeria If northeastern is looking for stats then it’s a rejection for me lol. Congratulations on the wait list tho?. Tufts is somewhere that I wish that I had applied even though my chances would be slim. My girlfriend went to Brandeis and her sister is currently a biophysics major there and will be doing a research internship at Vanderbilt this summer. I think Brandeis has really good departments for the life sciences. My gf also told me that Brandeis is really good with financial aid too
Got in today !!

4.0 college GPA, 4.0 mid-term report for Chemical Engineering BS at RIT.
Currently doing chemistry research and attended small poetry group.
Listed a few club activities in high school, as well as a 4-year technology design program for those with cerebral palsy.
@nyctransfer123 why transfer from rit to bc for chem?
I enjoy the program but not the environment here. I also want a stronger liberal arts education, which I think RIT does not offer very adequately. I’m also considering BU at this point (I assume my remaining Yale application will yield nothing) so I’m really just interested in a better, more balanced environment.

@bbfan1927 yeah Carrol idk if I will be attending just depends on the money the offer me as I got into NEU as well
Would they reject you solely because you forgot to fill out their financial aid form?
@bbfan1927 or anyone else knowledgeable about BC: any advice/info on waitlisted students? I was waitlisted to carroll and it seems like they take very few applicants off the list. Any experience with waitlist from previous years?
