[A push abroad by US prep schools - The Boston Globe](http://www.boston.com/news/education/k_12/articles/2010/04/04/a_push_abroad_by_us_prep_schools/?rss_id=Boston.com+--+Education+news)

Lol, A ton of my friends go to the Bullis school, it’s a fine institution but I did not know that they had a shortage in applications…

Well they get the point. It’s all about money. Chinese people can pay full, American schools want more FP people to enroll(plus they’re international!), then—we’re good.
But I don’t have the money though.

LOL they get the word right. “xiaoliuxuesheng”

I’m just curious—earning 5,000 rmb a month here is really nice, 10,000 would be perfect. Then how on earth can they pay $50k a year(that’s about 350k rmb) for prep schools? Uhhh rich families…

(China sends 100k students to the US this year. )

Woah 100k students to the US. That’s a lot !

Yeah I guess now they call it the “education industry”. If one spends $50k a year…it would make a total of…ermm and there’s India, S.Korea, etc.
You guys made a lot of money!
