Boston U vs Michigan State U

Based on the net price calculator, both schools would cost about the same (the difference can be easily paid). The majors I’m looking at are biology, human physiology, or anthropology, which both schools offer. I would also be a pre med, which I know I might drop based on the statistics, but I am completely dedicated to go to med school now. I am in-state for Michigan, but loved Boston when I visited.

And of course I know I might not get into BU (MSU is my safety), but I want to know if I should apply ED.

Which school do you think is a better fit for me? Thanks!

As a resident of Michigan, MSU will probably cost you less than $25k/year. BU, with not FA will cost $70k/year. BU is not known for its generosity. I would be surprised if it cost you less than $40k/year. BU is a very good university, but so is MSU. I do not think it is worth paying more to attend BU. That being said, if BU does cover the cost differential, then I would go for fit. If you think you would be happier at BU than at MSU, then BU would be a great option.
