To be clear when you click on the new “Blank” checkmark the page it takes you to. Click in the web address at the end of the full web address it says decision verification. It is not on the page.

I’d think they wouldn’t have to verify a rejection, so I’m purely speculating it could be admit or waitlist. I’m hoping someone from the ED round can weigh in because it happened then too.
My son does not have blank item. Search reddit and saw few people had that and got accepted later. Could be a good sign. Keep fingers crossed.
We’re going to an admitted students day at another school on Saturday. My D an I decided that she won’t check her BU portal until after that visit. I’m also not telling her about this new check mark thing. Don’t want her reading into anything. Eeek!

In a high level, what vast majority has will be a bad sign, very unfortunately. You know for RD, probably 9 out of 10 will be rejected/waitlisted.

Thanks for sharing that. Daughter does not have that extra green check on portal.
My daughter’s portal doesn’t have that.
My daughter has the green check with a blank space after it.
Really starting to feel as if my daughter won’t get into anywhere besides our state flag. Literally nothing but waitlists and now BU doesn’t look good since she doesn’t have the 
Don’t read so much into the checkmark! For all we know, it’s just verifying that every applicant has a decision connected to them- Whether it’s positive or negative- Just some sort of administrative thing to ensure the interns are doing their job! Nothing to worry about! Just remember: Your daughter is so smart and talented and will do amazing things in college and beyond- regardless of whether that’s BU or your state flag school!

Try to remember it will all work out but it is a brutal process for sure.

just reloaded and it went to no admissions materials have been received in my checklist…
