Boston University Class of 2030 Official RD Thread

This is the official discussion thread for Boston University Class of 2030 RD applicants. Ask your questions and connect with fellow applicants.

A2C is listing BU decision date as 3/28 but I have heard frequently that the date is traditionally the 3rd Saturday in March, which is 3/21.

Anyone hear that the date has been pushed back?

I just came on here to search out the same. I really hope it’s sooner.

I believe counselors received an email that decisions would be released on the 28th.

If that is the date, it would be the latest release date ever.

With decision day less than a month away, please encourage your students to set up and monitor their BU web accounts on the MyBU Applicant Portal to confirm that all required credentials have been received. Admission decisions for the BU Class of 2030 will be released on Saturday, March 28, 2026. Students will receive emails when their decisions are available.

As always, we are very appreciative of your support and assistance throughout this process, and I hope that you will contact us at 617-353-2300 or admissions@bu.edu if you have any questions.

We wish your students the best of luck with their college applications.

Sincerely,

Kelly A. Walter

just got email saying decisions coming out soon. not sure when.

3/28.

today portal was under maintenance. But now it restored back to same state.

Good luck tomorrow. Anyone know what time they typically drop? I’ve seen that it’s usually in the morning but curious on timeframe.

For D23, she definitely got the email before 9am. I think I heard around 8am it gets released.

We happened to be on campus today and stopped by to ask. Was told they begin releasing decisions in waves beginning at 7am.

Good luck!
