How/where do you view this code?

go to portal, then choose “received” section of application status, right click using a mouse and choose “inspect,” then hit command+f for mac OR ctrl+f for windows where you should be able to type the word, confetti.

Isn’t it possible that everybody has this in the source code?

So does everyone have confetti, and the word letter in the source code?

I see confetti. I know last year some people didn’t but last year there was also the blank box with a check mark and no one has seen that yet

my kid’s source code has confetti too, I don’t think it means anything

USC had confetti in the code and it was a deferral, with no confetti!

does anyone else’s portal have this message
i feel like that’s not a good sign

Our portal has always had that message starting from the day S25 set it up.

mine def wasn’t there yesterday. who knows i applied ed and got deferred so not much hope

Yeah for some reason I dont’ remember that being there yesterday either
probably doesn’t mean too much I’m hoping. ED1 deferred.

We had some weird stuff going on on my son’s portal this morning. All of a sudden it said nothing had been “received” that had been there before, like grades, transcripts etc.. All the checked marked items were gone. 15 minutes later it was all back up. Very odd

everyone has this message. it doesn’t mean anything

People on Reddit are getting calls today that they’re admitted

Another comment said it’s for FGLI applicants

I think some schools do this to increase yield.

there are a bunch of similar reddit posts or comments that they were called by admissions with the news, so I think it’s real

The normal checklist is gone from the portal now so they are definitely getting things ready!

i still have mine

My kid’s same old check list is still there so perhaps that’s good news for you (and bad news for my kid!)

ETA: someone else on Reddit commenting their application checklist is missing. I’m going with missing checklist = acceptance. My kid didn’t demonstrate interest at all so I’m thinking they are likely denied based on that alone.
