@chitown658 he has a Scholorship which does not cover chemical eng at BU. As a Kuwaiti national he gets it full ride but at Bu they cover electrical and Mechanical (right now they have stopped mechanical across all universities). I can’t get him
Approval for chemical in time for ED. Frustration and upset as a Terrier but hopefully they will accept to transfer him RD… he is communicating with enrollment services
BU has never offered a major in chemical engineering.
I hope it works out for him. As a legacy I would think he has a better chance than others. My son applied RD but BU sent him an email over Christmas break and asked if he wanted to apply ED 2, which he decided to do. Hoping he gets in, but I understand how competitive it is. Is there anyone whose portal changed from “Our records indicate that you have applied to the XXX as an Early Decision candidate” into “Our records indicate that you have applied to the XXX” without the word ED candidate?
is there a difference between a thank you message to a certain college like “Thank you for your… TO CAS” and just a thank you for your application
@TomSrOfBoston it would be energy at BU … thankful that they changed his status today to regular… not idea at all

The first message I recived was “our records indicate you have applied to CAS as an ED candidate”
However as soon as i submitted my financial documentatio (i’m an international applicant) the message changed in a matter of 4-5 days. Btw the rep for my region sent me an email saying I should submit the remaining materials asap.
regarding when it changed, it was approximately 10 days ago
