Boston University ED Class of 2023

@binder321 how did you hear that they were coming out? I havent received one yet either and i feel like i should be coming this week but im not sure if they are even sending them out?

I was speaking to someone at financial aid and she said everyone gets one. I’m just worried that mine may have gotten lost in the mail.

Hey! I got my letter in the mail today

@citygirl0719 what major? congrats

Did your message just change to this or was this your initial message that you received after submitting your application?
Thanks!

Did you end up getting in ED?

“we are thrilled that you applied to BU!” does this mean anything???

no

@Cholo19 was that your first message you received after applying or did your message change to this?

My sons’s message changed to thank you with ED today

@airway1 from everything I’ve read in all of the threads he should be accepted! Is this for ED 2? (I’m assuming so)

@airway1 Where did the message change? On the home page that you come to after logging in to your BU Portal or or once you hit the Application Status tab after logging into the portal?

@nassau1997 yes ED II… it’s in the application status tab

@airway1 - Thank you! No change here, but seems very good for your son. Good luck!

Last year during ED1, the Thank you meant you were in, Our Records meant defer. Last year during ED2 the Thank you meant either Accept or Reject. Our Records meant defer. Messages meant nothing during regular decision.

I believe this year’s ED1 followed the message pattern of last year’s ED2.

@GoingEast well that’s not good then! Hoping that being legacy will help him… not sure how that works at BU

so do you think this years ED2 will follow last years ED1?

Mine changed to “Thank you” today! Also, does anyone know the acceptance rate/stats for ED2?

Well requested my son app removed to RD sadly we could not get his major for his Scholorship. Seems he had a good chance so unhappy that as lagacy I had to do this

Sorry to hear that. Can you share what it means when you say that he could not get his major for his Scholarship?
