Hiā¦new to this thread. My daughter attended VASI last summer and got a recommendation from her professor at BU.
She did not need to submit SAT scores as a SVA applicant, but had to submit a portfolio. This is what our website statesā¦looking at the messages, I assume she got deferred. 
Our records indicate that you have applied to the School of Visual Arts in the College of Fine Arts for the September 2019 semester. If this information is not correct, or if you would like to change the college or school of application, please call BU Admissions during regular business hours.
