Botox?

Never thought I’d contemplate this but the past year seems to have put permanent grooves on my face. Not ready to look like my 87-year-old mom. Has anyone done this? My beauty regimen consists of washing my face in the shower and putting on lipstick and maybe mascara on a fancy day. My budget goes to my hair mostly.

For grooves you probably want a filler like Juvaderm rather than Botox.

Rather than starting with the injections, why not first try a very good moisterizer with sunscreen after your shower in the morning. You may find that the moisterizer softens the lines enough that they don’t bother you quite so much. Also, put a night cream on the lines before bed. There have been a few threads here lauding different brands of moisterizer. I like Aloette’s line Daily defense and also Clinique’s Even Better. Many people like Regenerist.

NJ does a toll on one’s face…I should know.

Hard to believe any moisturizer can approach the power of these agents. It’s one of those funny things, your friends will tell you that you look wonderful and rested. Nothing like the insane face altering face lifts. Subtle yet powerful. And it takes 15 minutes and barely hurts. A true wonder!
