What colleges do the people from the bottom 50% of your school go to??

mostly state universities…

College of Charleston, Meredith, Winston-Salem State, UNCC, Western Carolina, Johnson C. Smith, Mars Hill, NC A&T, NCCU, Clemson, Winthrop, Wingate, Queens U, UNCP, CPCC,…or none at all (20% of graduating class).

Most go to the comminty college. But that’s because they are just to lazy to go trough the college admissions process. The rest generally go to instate schools.

any1 not in top 10 percent goes to to community college

seriously

****ty state schools

More than half of my graduating class goes to a community college or nothing at all either because they were too lazy to apply anywhere, didn’t think they could afford it, or just couldn’t get in anywhere.

The local state schools (not the “decent” state schools, but the really obscure ones. Say I lived in Kentucky. They would go to Western Middle Kentucky State University, or something.)

We’re in the South, so they mostly stay in the South. Besides our own state schools, sometimes they make it to colleges like Auburn, or Clemson, or U of Alabama or U of Mississippi, Florida State University, College of Charleston.

To tell you the truth, practically ANY college is good. People on messageboards like these, while they have mostly good intentions, are often somewhat SNOBBY and ELITIST when it comes to schools-- anything outside of the top twenty-five is “trashy” or “sub-par” to them, which is unfair. Even if your school is ranked like #90, or is on the third tier, AT LEAST you’re getting a COLLEGE education. It may not be “choice”, but you might be learning at least something, attending classes.

My mom had no college education whatsoever and always told me how important it was to go to college. Is it any use to look down on “bottom” schools or the kids who go to these colleges when at least they CAN go to A college?

A bottom 50% school is, usually, better than NO college education at all.

University of Maryland Baltimore County, University of Colorado Boulder, Penn State, Towson, Salisbury.

NYU from 10th decile…what kind of school do you go to?!

Haha, yea, we all saw that and were like “***”. Granted I go to a really good school, but yea, that was kindve weird to see.

my favorite on the list was “nucknell”

Usually only 40-50% of the people here go to a 4-year university, so none

Nucknell is the rare sister school of Bucknell.

Actually I’m lying…they’re independent of eachother, they just occupy the same land.
